Conditions consistent with operating schedule
The premises will have a digital CCTV system that covers the area of the shop where the sale by retail of alcohol will occur.
CCTV images will be retained for a minimum of 21 days and will be made available to the police and authorised officers upon request.
A member of the management team will have responsibility for the premises during the time that the store is open to the public.
Training policies and formal training programmes must be in place to ensure all staff are familar with the four licensing objectives. Refresher training will be reviewed on a regular basis.
A challenge 25 policy will be operated at the premises at all times. Anyone who appears to be under the age of 25 years old will be asked to provide identification that they are over the age of 18.
The following are the only forms of ID acceptable:-
Full UK Driving Licence
Passport
PASS (proof of age standards scheme) card
Armed forces ID card
There will also be a till prompt to remind staff of their Challenge 25 responsibilities.
Signage will be displayed in the premises throughout informing both staff and customers of the Challenge 25 policy on alcohol sales.
