General - all four licensing objectives
The premises licence holder must ensure that any person/individual working on the premises has a right to work check completed prior to commencement of their employment.
Any copies of documents retained by the premises licence holder as a result of conducting checks relating to an employee right to work will be stored securely on the premises. Such documents must be made available to immigration and authorised officers at any time.
The premises licence holder must not employ a person or individual who does not have the right to work.
Prevention of crime and disorder
CCTV equipment shall be installed and be maintained in good working order in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. Training should be provided for relevant staff members in the usage of the CCTV equipment and there will be at least one member of staff who has been trained in relation to the use of the CCTV present at all times the premises is conducting licensable activities. CCTV footage recorded must, as a minimum, cover each entry/exit point of the premises and be recording at all times when the premises is conducting licensable activities.
The images recorded by the CCTV system shall be retained in unedited form for a period of not less than 30 days.
The Data Controller will make footage available within a reasonable time to a Police Constable or Authorised Officer, where such request is made in accordance with, and which satisfies the Data Protection Act 1998.
A minimum number of 1 member of door staff registered with the SIA will be on duty from 1am on Friday/Saturday and Saturday/Sunday mornings.
The premises licence holder will maintain a daily record comprising of the following - start time and finish time of each door supervisor. The door supervisor will record their SIA badge number and will sign and print their name in a legible form at the beginning and end of each tour of duty. The record shall be kept securely on the premises for at least 6 months and shall be produced on request to the police or other authorised person.
Public safety
Only staff employed by the premises will be permitted to enter the kitchen areas, no access will be allowed to customers.
The prevention of public nuisance
Where the premises provide late night refreshment for consumption off the premises sufficient waste bins must be provided at or near the exits, to enable the disposal of waste.
Delivery vehicles utilised by employees of the premises will not park or wait in such a place that causes an obstruction to other road users or pedestrians.
Employees who driver delivery vehicles and drivers of delivery vehicles who are self-employed or employed by a third party will be informed of this requirement prior to undertaking deliveries. Regular reminders will also be provided.
