Operating Schedule
General - all four licensing objectives
The prevention of crime and disorder
By promoting the business as an ice cream parlour and a place to go for light lunches, teas and coffee, with the added attraction of an art gallery, during the day time, and a family restaurant by evening, the potential for crime and disorder should be low risk.
Public safety
The internal build is very new and open plan, with all electrical work carried out by the fully qualified contractors with appropriate certification. An up to date fire alarm system is installed and is tested by staff on a regular basis as suggested by the fire officer. Upon completion (Spring 05) the premises was inspected by Building Control, Fire Officers and Environmental Health Officers, all found to be satisfactory. Telephone facilities are available to any one requiring a taxi..
The prevention of public nuisance
The situation of the premises would suggest that there is a very low risk of public nuisance.
The protection of children from harm
The business activities at the premises do not create the potential for causing harm to children. We aim to foster a family friendly environment. However any person who looks or appears to be under the legal age for drinking or purchasing alcohol shall be asked to provide identification.
