  Mandatory conditions where licence authorises the supply of alcohol

  (1)              No supply of alcohol may be made under the premises licence -

  (a)              at a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the premises licence, or

  (b)              at a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his personal licence is suspended

  (2)              The supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence

   

  Mandatory condition where Door Supervisors are provided

  All individuals who carry out security activities must be licensed by the Security Industry Authority (SIA)

   

• Offered Conditions

   

  1.              Alcohol will be served on the premises to adults only with the purchase of food

  2.              No alcohol will be served to children

  3.              Live music will be limited to a single musician or a duet playing unamplified background music

  4.              Recorded music will be limited to CDs and radio playing in the background

  There will be no adult entertainment services, activities, other entertainment or matters ancillary to the use of the premises that may give rise to concern in respect of children

   

  Operating Schedule

   

  General - all four licensing objectives

  The restaurant will seat no more than 40 at any one time and at maximum capacity at least 4 members of staff will be present to ensure licensing objectives are fulfilled.  We intend to work alongside other local businesses to prevent crime and public nuisance.  As Chef I will be on the premises at all times during which alcohol is being sold or supplied to customers except in case of an emergency.

   

  The prevention of crime and disorder

  It is our intention to install an alarm at the property in the near future.  Persons will be present at the property 24/7 except in the case of holidays.  We will network with other business owners in attempt to reduce crime and disorder.

  Alcohol willn ot be sold to customers who are drunk.

   

  Public safety

  We have already met with a Fire Officer and discussed safety measures.  Emergency lighting is in place and a full Fire Risk Assessment has been carried out for the premises and implemented.  Staff will be trained to deal with emergencies and John Alder-Connor is a certified first aider and holds a hygiene certificate.

   

  The prevention of public nuisance

  We do not anticipate public nuisance to be a problem.  Alcohol will only be served with food and diners will be staggered throughout an evening and depart at different times.  Music will be low key and unamplified as played as background noise only.  If problems do occur members of staff will be trained accordingly to handle situations.

   

   

  The protection of children from harm

  Children will only be permitted accompanied by an adult and no children under the age of 14 will be allowed to be in the restaurant after 21.30hrs.  Any person who looks or appears to be under the age of 21 will be asked for identification to prove they are over 18.  The following will be accepted: UK photo driving licence, passport or PASS card.
