Offered Conditions
A personal licence holder shall normally be on the premises at all times during which intoxicating liquor is being sold or supplied to customers or consumed by customers, except in the case of an emergency
Whenever the designated premises supervisor is not at the premises another personal licence holder will normally be nominated by the designated premises supervisor as being the responsible person to manage the premises and will have the contact details of the designated premises supervisor. The details of such person to be on prominent display outside the premises
Any person who looks or appears to be under the age of 18 shall be asked to provide identification that they are over the age of 18. The following are the only forms of identification acceptable: UK photo driving licence; Passport; PASS card (proof of age standards scheme)
The maximum number of persons (including staff) allowed to be in certain parts of the premises at any time shall be Gallery 250, Music room 150, Auditorium 200, Lecture theatre 100, Restaurant 200, Bar 100
There shall be no off sales from the premises.
Operating Schedule
a) General - all four licensing objectives (b,c,d,e)
SCIC staff will be trained to ensure they are able and informed to deal with safety of both resident tenants and public visiting the building.
Security and Fire systems will be regularly maintained and tested.
Staff will be trained in First Aid.
Police checks will be carried out on staff working with children.
Risk assessments will be carried out regularly.
b) The prevention of crime and disorder
The building is fitted with a comprehensive security system that will include CCTV and PSI.
The building will be fully staffed during the hours it is open to the public.
Staff will receive appropriate training.
c) Public safety
The staff will be trained in First Aid.
The appropriate risk assessments will be carried out.
The building will comply with all statutory requirements.
d) The prevention of public nuisance
The building will be staffed at all times when open to the public.
The programme of events and entertainment will be appropriately managed.
Staff will be informed to ensure that all bylaws are adhered to.
e) The protection of children from harm
The appropriate staff training will be undertaken.
The appropriate statutory checks for staff working with children will be carried out.
