The prevention of crime and disorder
To install and operate a CCTV system which shall record during all hours that a licensable activity takes place on the premises and be of such quality so as to provide facial images of persons inside the venue.
The prevention of public nuisance
The designated premises supervisor or the personal licence holder who is supervising the sale or supply of alcohol at that time shall not permit customers to congregate and consume alcohol sold or supplied by that premises in a public place within the immediate vicinity of the premises to the annoyance or obstruction of others and shall take reasonable steps to prevent this.
The protection of children from harm
Any person who looks or appears to be under the age of 25 shall be asked to provide identification that they are over the age of 18. The following are the only forms of identification acceptable:-
Photo driving licence
Passport
PASS card
"No ID - No Sale" signage will be on display promoting the "Challenge 25" policy in store at point of entry, point of sale and repeater messages throughout the store.
All staff will successfully complete written training in age related products prior to commencing employment, refresher training will also be successfully completed not more than every 3 months, this will be fully documented and be available for inspection to police officers or other authorised officers.
All staff to utilise and fully record any refused sales or challenges made to patrons and such records be kept in an appropriate book/binder and be made available on inspection to the police or other authorised officers.
All sales tills shall prompt the cashier making a sale of alcohol to verify that the customer is aged 18 or over.
