Conditions consistent with the Operating Schedule
1. All members of staff must undertake written training in relation to age awareness sales. Records of this training must be kept for inspection by Police Officers or other relevant Authorised Officers upon request. The training must include sales of alcohol and tobacco.
2. There must be in place a written method of recording all transactions made. This record must include the time, date, location and evidence of proof of age offered by the customer.
3. There must be in place a written method of recording all sales refused on grounds of age. This record must include the date, time, location and description of the customer and reason for refusal
4. All sales of alcohol must only be made after an acceptable form of photo identification is provided. Acceptable forms of identification include the following:-
Passport
Photo Driving Licence
PASS ID Card (proof of age standards scheme)
Armed Forces Identification Card.
5. Sales of alcohol will be refused to anyone who appears to be already intoxicated.
6. Should someone attempt to purchase alcohol for a person under the age of 18 years then the sale will be refused and the Police informed.
