  Mandatory condition where the licence permits the performance of Films

  Where a programme includes a film in the 12A, 15 or 18 category, as classified by the British board of Film Classification, no person appearing to be under the age of 12 (and unaccompanied in that case),15 or 18 as appropriate shall be admitted to any part of the programme; and the licence holder shall display in a conspicuous position a notice in the following terms-

  PERSONS UNDER THE AGE OF [INSERT APPROPRIATE AGE] CANNOT BE ADMITTED TO ANY PART OF THE PROGRAMME

  Where films of different categories form part of the same programme, the notice shall refer to the oldest age restriction.

  This condition does not apply to members of staff under the relevant age while on duty provided the prior written consent of the person’s parents or legal guardian has first been obtained.

  Immediately before each exhibition of a film passed by the British Board of Film Classification there shall be exhibited on screen for at least five seconds a in such a manner that it can be easily read by all persons in the auditorium a reproduction of the certificate of the Board or, as regards a trailer advertising a film, of the statement approved by the Board indicating the category of the film

• Offered Conditions

   

  1        Any outside area, which is used for regulated entertainment or for the provision of late night refreshment, shall only be so used between 10.00 hours and 22.00 hours

  There may be gaming evenings (including casino and/or video racing) and variety shows (including hypnosis and/or adult humour) but there will be no other adult entertainment services, activities, other entertainment or matters ancillary to the use of the premises that may give rise to concern in respect of children.

   

  Operating schedule

   

                        We will ensure that all hirers have read and understood the terms and conditions of hire as designated by the Management Committee.

                        We will ensure that local police are informed of any function due to take place beyond 21:00. We will ensure that when the building is unoccupied it is adequately secured.

                        Inspection of the building prior, during and after a public event will take place. Fire, gas and electrical equipment will be tested and maintained and recorded as required. All new and regular users will be asked to carry out a risk assessment.

                        We will ensure that the premises and immediate area around the building are patrolled and supervised during a public event. Visitors are requested to have due consideration to occupancy of surrounding residential properties.

                        We currently have a child protection policy which is incorporated into our hire agreement. We ensure that policy and procedures are carried out. Children will only be permitted entry to the building when suitable adult supervision is provided.
