Conditions Consistent with the Operating Schedule
An events management plan which must include safety plans and risk assessments must be produced before every event and this must be given to the parks manager a minimum of 8 weeks before the event.
Trained stewards must be in attendance at the event
A zero tolerance drugs policy must be in place and anyone found using or carrying illegal substances will be reported to the police.
Risk assessment must include maximum capacities for each area of the park where regulated entertainment will take place.
Stewards will ensure that all exits and fire routes are kept clear at all times
Live music will only take place between 12 noon and 6pm. A qualified technical team will monitor noise levels.
Stewards must ensure that patrons leave the park in a respectable manner at the end of the event.
A team of qualified youth and community workers all of whom must be DBS checked will form part of the group of stewards and will be responsible for the safety of children.
A lost children’s point must be available and be manned by a DBS checked steward
All stewards and site staff must be trained in how to safely manage a 'lost child' situation.
No alcohol will be permitted at the event except that which is purchased from the Lancaster City Council licensed bar.
