Prevention of crime and disorder
The premises will have full 24 hour CCTV coverage, a copy of which must be made available to police officers upon request.
Appropriate training shall be given to staff which will be documented in training books confirming that it has been read and understood.
There must be a refusals book at the premises detailing all sales of alcohol and tobacco that have been refused. This must be available to the police and any authorised officer upon request.
A till prompt will be in place as a reminder to staff to check for appropriate identification each time a sale of alcohol or tobacco is requested.
Public safety
A well stocked first aid kit must be available at all times during which the premises are open to the public.
Prevention of public nuisance
The licence holder will make regular checks to ensure there is a lack of light pollution to neighbouring premises.
There must be adequate containers available at the premises at all times for the storage of waste.
Protection of children from harm
A challenge 25 policy must be adopted at the premises at all times. Anyone who looks or appears to be under the age of 25 years must be able to provide identification that they are over the age of 18 years old. The only acceptable forms of identification are:
Uk photo driving licence
Passport
PASS (proof of age standards scheme) card
Armed Forces ID card.
