Conditions consistent with operating schedule
There will be no direct access to the site for the public as it is secure and will be restricted to members of Provino management utilising keypads and keys to access our storage room.
There will be no direct sales to the public from the site.
Provino reserves the right to postpone any delivery until a more appropriate occasion.
Prevention of crime and disorder
CCTV equipment must be installed on the premises and will be maintained in good working order in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. Training should be provided for staff members in the usage of the CCTV equipment. CCTV footage recorded must, as a minimum, cover each entry/exit point of the premises and be recording at all times when the premises is conducting licensable activities.
The images recorded by the CCTV system shall be retained in unedited form for a period of not less than 30 days.
The Data Controller will make footage available within a reasonable time to a Police Constable or Authorised Officer, where such request is made in accordance with and which satisfies the Data Protection Act 1998.
Payment must not be taken at the property where the order is being delivered to ie no cash transactions ‘at the door’ or direct sales from the delivery vehicle must take place.
Payment must be made, by card (debit or credit) when placing the order, in advance of delivery. At this point, details should be taken and a copy of all sales logged including the age verification measures taken at the time of each sale. Also, verification that an age check was carried out at the time of delivery and suitable ID shown.
For deliveries made by courier services (ie) deliveries too far away to be done by company delivery vehicle, deliveries must still be signed for by a person over the age of 18.
All deliveries must be accepted by an individual (ie) not left in safe place or unsigned for.
All deliveries of alcohol shall be delivered to a premises address with a valid postcode ie not just to a street corner or public space.
A record of all transactions will be maintained. The transaction record will contain the name, address, details of the order, requested time of order. This shall be documented and available for inspection to Police Officers or other authorised persons.
No alcohol will be delivered to any person who is intoxicated.
Protection of children from harm
A documented Challenge 25 scheme will be operated at the premises. The Challenge 25 scheme shall be actively promoted and advertised at the premises and will ensure that any person purchasing alcohol, who appears to be under 25 years of age, shall be asked to provide acceptable identification to prove that they are 18 years of age or over. Failure to supply such identification will result in no sale or supply of alcohol to that person.
The Proof of Age Standards Scheme (PASS) will be actively promoted.
A PASS accredited holographic proof of age card will be the main identification document accepted at the premises as proof of age. A PASS card must be accepted as proof of age if a purchaser possesses one. Where a purchaser does not possess a PASS accredited proof of age card, only the following alternative forms of alternative identification will be acceptable:-
Photo driving licence
Passport
Her Majesty’s Forces Warrant Card
To utilise and fully record any refused sales or challenges made to patrons and such records be kept in an appropriate form and be made available on inspection to the police or other authorised agency.
All staff involved with the provision of alcohol will successfully complete training in age related products prior to supplying an order. Refresher training will also be successfully completed not more than every 6 months, this will be fully documented and be available for inspection to police officers or other authorised persons.
Provino have taken steps through their website registration process to ensure they can check the date of birth of customers and will not leave a delivery with children unless they have received specific notification from the child's parent that they will be receiving the shipment. Even then, they reserve the right, should there be any uncertainty, to postpone delivery until they can be sure that the product is received by a responsible adult.
