All staff will be trained in customer care, conflict prevention, and how to manage any issues that could arise during latenight
trading.
We will maintain an incident log to record any problems, including noise complaints or unruly customers, and take
corrective action where needed.
We will keep the premises clean, safe, and well-lit both inside and outside to create a secure environment.
We will engage positively with neighbors and local authorities and address any concerns promptly and professionally
b) The prevention of crime and disorder
Staff will remain vigilant and be trained to de-escalate any potential issues calmly and politely.
We will not tolerate aggressive, abusive, or disorderly behavior; service will be refused to any customer acting in this way.
The premises will be well-lit inside and at the entrance to discourage anti-social behavior.
We will report any persistent criminal or disorderly behavior in the area to the police and work with them as needed.
c) Public safety
We will regularly inspect the premises to ensure floors, entrances, and walkways are kept clear, clean, and free from hazards.
Fire exits will remain unobstructed and clearly signed at all times.
Staff will receive basic training on emergency procedures and first aid.
The premises will be well-maintained, and equipment will be regularly checked to avoid safety risks.
d) The prevention of public nuisance
Signage will be displayed inside the premises politely asking customers to leave quietly and respect our neighbors,
especially during late hours.
We will ensure that customers do not loiter outside the premises after collecting their food.
Waste will be managed responsibly, with bins emptied regularly and collections scheduled at reasonable times.
During busy periods, staff will manage queues in a polite and orderly manner to prevent noise or disruption.
e) The protection of children from harm
Although we do not sell age-restricted products, staff will be trained to remain aware of the welfare of children on the
premises.
Any concerns regarding unaccompanied or vulnerable children will be taken seriously, and appropriate action taken if
necessary.
We will maintain a family-friendly environment with no inappropriate materials on display and ensure the premises are
welcoming for customers of all ages.
Children and families will be served with the same care and attention as all other customers
PROPOSED POLICE CONDITIONS
CCTV equipment shall be installed and be maintained in good working order in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. Training should be provided for staff members in the usage of the CCTV equipment. CCTV footage recorded must, as a minimum, cover each entry/exit point of the premises and be recording at all times when the premises is open to the public.
The images recorded by the CCTV system shall be retained in unedited form for a period of not less than 31 days.
The Data Controller will make footage available within a reasonable time to a Police Constable or Authorised Officer, where such request is made in accordance with, and which satisfies the Data Protection Act 1998.
An incident book will be maintained in which there will be recorded:
· All incidents of crime and disorder
· A record of any person asked to leave the premises.
· Details of occasions on which the police are called to the premises.
The book will be available for inspection by a police officer.
A minimum of 1 X SIA registered door staff shall be on duty from midnight to 0300 close on Friday & Saturday nights.
