Offered Conditions
1. The provision of late night refreshment is only for consumption on the premises within those indoor areas used for the consumption of alcohol
2. Other than Gaming Machines there will be no provision of any adult entertainment services, activities, other entertainment or matters ancillary to the use of the premises that may give rise to concern in respect of children
Operating Schedule
a) General ~ all four licensing objectives (b, c, d, e) (please read guidance note 9)
The risks associated with the variations sought have been considered, and no further steps are felt necessary to promote the licensing objectives, save as detailed below.
b) The prevention of crime and disorder
Any person who looks or appears to be under the age of 21 shall be asked to provide identification that they are over the age of 18. The following are the only forms of identification acceptable: UK photo driving licence, Passport, PASS card (proof of age standards scheme).
- CCTV is installed and will be maintained, with images retained and made available to the police on reasonable request.
- The toilets are checked on a regular basis. The licencees/staff regularly monitor customer behaviour.
c) Public safety
Regular checks are carried out on the fire escape routes to ensure that they are not obstructed.
All staff are fully trained in fire safety procedures. There is an extensive Health & Safety policy in place.
There are current electrical test inspection certificates in place. The premises is equipped with emergency lighting, exit signage and a smoke detection system.
Maximum permitted occupancy level for regulated entertainment will be:
- Library Informal Seating 100 Restaurant 0 Closely Seated 0;
- Lounge Bar Informal Seating 100 Restaurant 0 Closely Seating 0;
- Restaurant Informal Seating 100 Restaurant 0 Closely Seated 0;
- Total capacity not to exceed 300.
Crypt Bar
The maximum occupation allowed on these premises will be 100 persons.
d) The prevention of public nuisance
Anyone found to be creating a nuisance in the immediate vicinity of the premises will be asked to leave/banned if necessary.
Patrons will not be allowed to remove drinks from the premises at the end of the evening.
e) The protection of children from harm
Any AWP machine and any cigarette machine will be positioned in such a way that it can be easily seen and monitored.
