Offered Conditions
Measures taken to promote the four Licensing Objectives:
Not allow, under any circumstances, alcohol to be imbibed or sold on the premises.
In the event of door staff being employed at the premises, we will maintain a daily record comprising of the following:- start time and finish time of each door supervisor. The door supervisor will record their SIA badge number and will sign and print their name in a legible form at the beginning and end of each tour of duty. The record shall be kept securely on the premises for at least 6 months and shall be produced on request to the police or other authorised person.
Ensure the house rules of no drinking and no smoking are announced at the beginning of events, and that the Fire Exits are signposted before events, too.
Ensure all Fire Exits are clear and that the final Fire Exits on the opposite side of the building (through the Junior Library) are left open during events/facing outwards.
Ensure all doors and windows, apart from the final Fire Exits, are closed during events to keep excess noise in.
Risk assess the performance area regularly.
The general public will be checked in to collate e.mail addresses, enabling quiet and steady entry into the building and allowing an accurate number count of individuals within the building.
Ensure performance space is cleared apart from the music equipment, staging, tables, lighting and wiring needed for the event.

Never sell more than 200 tickets to allow manageable numbers on the premises.
Abide by health and safety advice on seating layouts for small and medium places of assembly.
