Offered Conditions
1. A personal licence holder shall normally be on the premises at all times after 20.00 hours during which intoxicating liquor is being sold or supplied to customers or consumed by customers except in the case of an emergency
2. Any person who looks or appears to be under the age of 18 shall be asked to provide identification that they are over the age of 18. The following are the only forms of identification acceptable: - UK photo driving licence Passport PASS card (proof of age standards scheme)
3. Any outside area which is used for the consumption of alcohol shall cease to be so used at 23.00 hours
4. Off sales shall cease at 23.00 hours.
5. Supply of alcohol to end at 01.00 hours each night
6. Off sales shall cease at 23.00 hours.
7. The hours that the premises are open to the public to end at 01.30 hours each night
8. Before the premises are opened for the purposes authorised buy the licence an inspection shall be carried out to ensure that the premises are safe for use. Details of the inspection, defects discovered and remedial action taken shall be recorded in writing in a logbook kept for that purpose. That logbook shall be made available for inspection on demand to an Authorised Officer of the Council, a Fire Officer or a Police Constable
9. The fire alarm, emergency lighting system and electrical installation shall be tested on a regular basis at a frequency to be determined by a responsible person. Certificates should be issued showing the results of the tests. The certificates shall be available for inspection on demand to an Authorised Officer of the Council, a Fire Officer or a Police Constable
10. All external doors and windows shall be kept closed when regulated entertainment is being provided except in the event of an emergency
11. Live music shall consist of amplified and/or Unamplified live music performed by no more than 2 entertainers
Other than 2 AWP machines and 1 cigarette machine there will be no adult entertainment services, activities, other entertainment or matters ancillary to the use of the premises that may give rise to concern in respect of children
Operating Schedule
a) General ~ all four licensing objectives (b, c, d, e) (please read guidance note 9)
Following an assessment of the premises and its surrounding area the following is proposed:
30 minute “drinking up” time will allow appropriate dispersal, use of lavatories etc;
In order to further the licensing objectives the licensee reserves the right to move the fire appliances, AWP machines, cigarette machines and or any other similar objects temporarily in a fixed location which may impact on the ability of individuals on the premises to use exits or escape routes without impediment.
b) The prevention of crime and disorder
Illumination is provided to the exterior of the pub.
Toilets checked regularly.
Pub is equipped with exit signs.
Burglar alarm in place.
Most customers local.
Member of Pubwatch.
Emergency lighting.
Drugs policy in place.
CCTV in place.
No admissions after midnight.
c) Public safety
Fire fighting equipment serviced regularly.
Exit signs clearly visible.
Gas and electricity certificates in place.
Accident book for public/staff.
Portable appliances tested annually.
d) The prevention of public nuisance
Doors and windows to remain closed during entertainment.
Signs requesting customers leave the premises quietly.
No immediate adjoining residents.
Noise survey carried out when entertainment on.
Managed dispersal policy.
e) The protection of children from harm
No children after 8.00 pm.
No unsupervised children allowed.
AWP machines visible from the bar.
No children at the bar.
