Offered Conditions
1. Off sales shall cease at 23.00 hours.
2. Any outside area which is used for the consumption of alcohol shall cease to be so used at 23.00 hours
3. Any person who looks or appears to be under the age of 18 shall be asked to provide identification that they are over the age of 18. The following are the only forms of identification acceptable: - UK photo driving licence Passport PASS card (proof of age standards scheme)+
4. Live music shall consist of amplified and/or unamplified live music performed by no more than 2 entertainers
Other than 2 AWP machines and 1 cigarette machine there will be no adult entertainment services, activities, other entertainment or matters ancillary to the use of the premises that may give rise to concern in respect of children
Operating Schedule
General - all four licensing objectives
Following an assessment of the premises and its surrounding area the following is proposed:
60 minute “drinking up” time will allow appropriate dispersal, use of lavatories etc.
In order to further the licensing objectives the licensee reserves the right to move the fire appliances, AWP machines, cigarette machines and or any other similar objects temporarily in a fixed location which may impact on the ability of individuals on the premises to use exits or escape routes without impediment.
The prevention of crime and disorder
Illumination is provided to the exterior of the premises.
Rota system is in place for checking the toilets.
Licensee and staff monitor customer behaviour especially at busy periods.
Burglar system in place throughout the building.
Always a minimum of 2 staff on duty at any one time.
Soft drinks available for drivers.
No other licensed premises in close proximity.
Public safety
Health and Safety policy in place and adhered to.
Quarterly risk assessment carried out.
Pub is equipped with emergency lighting and has illuminated exit signs with a fire exit.
All fire fighting equipment serviced annually.
Pest control contract is in place.
Mechanical extraction is provided in the bar with air conditioning / filters throughout.
Comply with smoking charter.
Accident / incident book on site for both staff and members of the public.
Maximum effort is placed on providing a smoke free environment with the use of extractors and air conditioning.
HACCP policy in place.
The prevention of public nuisance
All entrance doors have internal lobbies which reduce noise emission.
When required staff organise taxis for customer’s onward journey.
Being a detached property there are no adjoining neighbours and residential accommodation in the immediate area is minimal.
The fact that the public house is a detached property assists in minimising noise transfer to neighbours.
The protection of children from harm
No unaccompanied children allowed on the premises.
All children to be off the premises by 9p.m. unless completing a meal.
AWP within view of the bar.
No smoking areas.
The pub has a children’s menu and a range of suitable soft drinks.
