Offered Conditions
1 A personal licence holder shall normally be on the premises at all times during which alcohol is being sold or supplied to customers or consumed by customers
2 Whenever the designated premises supervisor is not at the premises another personal licence holder will be nominated by the designated premises supervisor as being the responsible person to manage the premises and will have the contact details of the designated premises supervisor. The details of such person to be on prominent display outside the premises
3 Any person who looks or appears to be under the age of 18 shall be asked to provide identification that they are over the age of 18. The following are the only forms of identification acceptable: UK photo driving licence; Passport; PASS card (proof of age standards scheme)
4 Off sales shall cease at 23.00 hours
5 Where a door(s) on an escape route opens against the direction of travel, it shall be locked in the open position by a tamper-proof fastening whenever there are public on the premises. and there shall be a clearly visible notice in capital letters which contains the words: "THIS DOOR SHALL BE KEPT LOCKED IN THE OPEN POSITION WHEN THE PREMISES ARE OCCUPIED" displayed next to the door(s)
6 Before the premises are opened for the purposes authorised by the licence an inspection shall be carried out to ensure that the premises are safe for use. Details of the inspection, defects discovered and remedial action taken shall be recorded in writing in a logbook kept for that purpose. That logbook shall be made available for inspection on demand to an Authorised Officer of the Council, a Fire Officer or a Police Constable.
7 The fire alarm, emergency lighting system and electrical installation shall be tested on a regular basis, at a frequency determined by a competent person. Certificates should be issued showing the results of the tests. The certificates shall be made available for inspection on demand to an Authorised Officer of the Council, a Fire Officer or a Police Constable.
There will be no adult entertainment services, activities, other entertainment or matters ancillary to the use of the premises that may give rise to concern in respect of children
Operating Schedule
General - all four licensing objectives
All staff and management of the premises will be trained in the promotion and enforcement of the 4 licensing objectives.
The prevention of crime and disorder
1. No irresponsible drinks promotions.
2. No door staff will ever be needed.
3. All members of staff trained in identification of underage persons.
Public safety
1. Fire extinguisher checked annually.
2. First aid kit available.
3. Daily health and safety checks.
The prevention of public nuisance
1. Last sale of alcohol in beer garden until 10.00p.m.
2. Windows to be closed when entertainment in progress.
3. Bottle skip to be emptied during the day. Not before 10.00a.m.
4. Signs at exit points noting patrons to leave quietly.
The protection of children from harm
1. No cigarette machine.
2. No children on premises after 10.00p.m. unless in residential rooms.
3. Gaming machine in sight of bar.
