Offered Conditions

1. A personal licence holder shall normally be on the premises at all times during which alcohol is being sold or supplied to customers or consumed by customers
2. Whenever the designated premises supervisor is not at the premises another personal licence holder will be nominated by the designated premises supervisor as being the responsible person to manage the premises and will have the contact details of the designated premises supervisor. The details of such person to be on prominent display outside the premises
3. Any person who looks or appears to be under the age of 18 shall be asked to provide identification that they are over the age of 18. The following are the only forms of identification acceptable: - UK photo driving licence Passport PASS card (proof of age standards scheme)
4. Off sales shall cease at 23.00 hours
5. Any outside area which is used for the consumption of alcohol shall cease to be so used at 22.15 hours
6. The only dance floor is in the function room and only to be used in conjunction with an organised function
7. At all times when the premises are used for the purpose of the premises licence, the licence holder, manager or designated premises supervisor who is responsible for the management of the premises shall at all times be aware of the number of persons on the premises and shall if requested to do so give that information to an authorised person.
8. Before the premises are opened for the purposes authorised by the licence an inspection shall be carried out to ensure that the premises are safe for use. Details of the inspection, defects discovered and remedial action taken shall be recorded in writing in a logbook kept for that purpose. That logbook shall be made available for inspection on demand to an Authorised Officer of the Council, a Fire Officer or a Police Constable.
9. Where a door(s) on an escape route opens against the direction of travel, it shall be locked in the open position by a tamper-proof fastening when ever there are public on the premises and there shall be a clearly visible notice in capital letters which contains the words: "THIS DOOR SHALL BE KEPT LOCKED IN THE OPEN POSITION WHEN THE PREMISES ARE OCCUPIED" displayed next to the door(s)
10. The fire alarm, emergency lighting system and electrical installation shall be tested on a regular basis, at a frequency determined by a competent person. Certificates should be issued showing the results of the tests. The certificates shall be made available for inspection on demand to an Authorised Officer of the Council, a Fire Officer or a Police Constable
11. All external doors and windows shall be kept closed when regulated entertainment is being provided except in the event of an emergency
12. Refuse such as bottles shall be disposed of from the premises at a time when it is not likely to cause a disturbance to residents in the vicinity of the premises
13. There shall be placed at all exits from the premises in a place where they can be seen and easily read by the public, (or member and their guests) notices requiring customers to leave the premises and the area quietly.
Any gaming machines will be restricted to over 18’s only and will be placed near the bar for staff surveillance. There will be no other adult entertainment services, activities, other entertainment or matters ancillary to the use of the premises that may give rise to concern in respect of children

General - all four licensing objectives
All members of staff and management will have ongoing training on the provisions of the Licensing Act 2003 and the promotion of the 4 licensing objectives b) - e) below.
The prevention of crime and disorder
No irresponsible drinks promotions.
Whenever the Designated Premises Supervisor is not at the premises he / she will endeavour to obtain another personal licence holder to be nominated by the Designated Premises Supervisor as being the responsible person to manage the premises and will have the contact details of the Designated Premises Supervisor, the details of such person to be on prominent display outside the premises.
Public safety
Daily safety audit to be carried out.
Fire extinguishers on the premises.
Fire exits clearly signed.
Smoke alarms / heat detectors.
Annual check to be allowed by the relevant bodies to ensure all safety features and measures are being complied with.
No person to be allowed access to the premises 1 hour before closing.
No door staff will ever be needed.
The prevention of public nuisance
Whilst regulated entertainment is in progress all windows and doors to be closed.
30 minute ‘wind down’ period where quieter music will be played before the regulated entertainment stops.
Bottle skip to be emptied during the day.
Sign placed above the door asking customers to leave quietly.
Any outside area which is used for the consumption of alcohol shall cease to be so used at 10.15p.m.
The protection of children from harm
All members of staff concerned with the sale of alcohol to be trained with regard to the sale of alcohol to under 18s.
Children under the age of 16 to be off the premises by 10.30p.m. unless attending a private function.
Gaming machine(s) and / or cigarette machine is / are in full view of the bar.
The restaurant is a designated no smoking area.
