The operation of the store will normally be from 07.00hrs at the earliest to 23.00hrs at the latest.
The prevention of crime and disorder
Notices are displayed throughout the store advising that 24 hour CCTV is in operation.
Digital CCTV cameras installed both internally and externally.
Tapes are retained for 31 days or if it is a digital recording system the memory lasts for 10 days.
Recordings are made available to Police and other agencies including the Local Authority.
An incident book is maintained at the premises.
All incidents are reported and monitored by Store Management and our Loss Prevention Team.
The frontage of the premises are provided with security lighting.
Public safety
E. H. Booth & Co takes its obligations under existing legislation seriously. However, the nature and the operation will not change during the additional hours and no further measures are considered necessary to promote this licensing objective.

Application to vary - Conditions agreed with Police (Aug 2024)
A Challenge 25 scheme will be operated at the premises. The Challenge 25 scheme shall be actively promoted and advertised at the premises. All customers who are purchasing alcohol and appear to be under 25 years of age, shall be asked to provide acceptable identification to prove that they are 18 years of age or over. Failure to supply such identification will result in no sale or supply of alcohol to that person.
The following alternative forms of alternative identification will be acceptable:-
(a) Photo driving licence
(b) Passport or
(c) HM Forces Warrant Card
(d) PASS accredited holographic proof of age card
All staff involved with the sale of alcohol will complete training in age related products prior to operating a till. Refresher training will also be completed not more than every 6 months, this will be fully documented and be available for inspection to police officers or other authorised persons.

To permit internal alterations to the layout of the premises including an increase in the retail floor space from 948m2 to 1000m2. To replace the current approved plan with the one deposited with this application. Such variation to take effect upon the completion of the works
