Offered Conditions
1 A personal licence holder shall normally be on the premises at all times during which intoxicating liquor is being sold or supplied to customers or consumed by customers, except in the case of an emergency
2 Whenever the designated premises supervisor is not at the premises another personal licence holder will be nominated by the designated premises supervisor as being the responsible person to manage the premises and will have the contact details of the designated premises supervisor. The details of such person to be on prominent display outside the premises
3 Any person who looks or appears to be under the age of 18 shall be asked to provide identification that they are over the age of 18. The following are the only forms of identification acceptable: UK photo driving licence; Passport; PASS card (proof of age standards scheme)
4 The provision of off-sales to terminate at 23:00 hours
5 No nuisance shall be caused by noise coming from the premises or by vibration transmitted through the structure of the premises
6 All external doors and windows shall be kept closed when regulated entertainment is being provided except in the event of an emergency
7 The premises licence holder or his representative shall conduct regular assessments of the noise coming from the premises on every occasion the premises are used for regulated entertainment and shall take steps to reduce the level of noise where it is likely to cause a disturbance to local residents. A written record shall be made of those assessments in a log book kept for that purpose and shall include, the time and date of the checks, the person making them and the results including any remedial action
8 There shall be placed at all exits from the premises in a place where they can be seen and easily read by the public, (or member and their guests) notices requiring customers to leave the premises and the area quietly
9 Refuse such as bottles shall be disposed of from the premises at a time when it is not likely to cause a disturbance to residents in the vicinity of the premises
10 Before the premises are opened for the purposes authorised by the licence an inspection shall be carried out to ensure that the premises are safe for use. Details of the inspection, defects discovered and remedial action taken shall be recorded in writing in a logbook kept for that purpose. That logbook shall be made available for inspection on demand to an Authorised Officer of the Council, a Fire Officer or a Police Constable.
11 At all times when the premises are used for the purpose of the premises licence, the licence holder, manager or designated premises supervisor who is responsible for the management of the premises shall at all times be aware of the number of persons on the premises and shall if requested to do so give that information to an authorised person.
12 Where a door(s) on an escape route opens against the direction of travel, it shall be locked in the open position by a tamper-proof fastening when ever there are public on the premises and there shall be a clearly visible notice in capital letters which contains the words: "THIS DOOR SHALL BE KEPT LOCKED IN THE OPEN POSITION WHEN THE PREMISES ARE OCCUPIED" displayed next to the door(s)
13 The fire alarm, emergency lighting system and electrical installation shall be tested on a regular basis, at a frequency determined by a competent person. Certificates should be issued showing the results of the tests. The certificates shall be made available for inspection on demand to an Authorised Officer of the Council, a Fire Officer or a Police Constable.
14 The nosings on all steps and landings shall be maintained so that they are clearly visible by painting them in contrasting colours or other similar means.
15 Gaming Machine and cigarette machine to be in full view of the bar and full staff training on under age use
There will be no adult entertainment services, activities, other entertainment or matters ancillary to the use of the premises that may give rise to concern in respect of children
Operating Schedule
(a) General - all four licensing objectives (b, c,d,e)
All members of staff and management will have ongoing training on the provisions of the Licensing Act 2003 and the promotion of the 4 licensing objectives b) - e)
(b) The prevention of crime and disorder
No irresponsible drinks promotions.
All members of staff concerned with the sale of alcohol to be trained with regard to the sale of alcohol and under 18s.
Active member of the local Pubwatch scheme.
(c) Public Safety
Daily safety audit to be carried out.
Fire extinguishers on the premises.
Fire exits clearly signed.
Emergency lighting
Fire escapes
Smoke alarms/heat detectors.
No person to be allowed access to the premises after 11.45pm
Emergency exits will remain unobstructed at all times.
(d) The prevention of public nuisance
Whilst regulated entertainment is in progress all windows and doors to be closed.
Bottle skip to be emptied during the day.
Calling taxis for customers to ensure they are moved off the premises quickly and quietly.
(e) The protection of children from harm
All memebers of staff concerned with the sale of alcohol to be trained with regard to the sale of alcohol to under 18s.
Children under the age of 16 to be off the premises by 7.00pm.
Gaming machine(s) and /or cigarette machine is .are in full view of the bar.
