Offered Conditions
1 Before the premises are opened for the purposes authorised by the licence an inspection shall be carried out to ensure that the premises are safe for use. Details of the inspection, defects discovered and remedial action taken shall be recorded in writing in a logbook kept for that purpose. That logbook shall be made available for inspection on demand to an Authorised Officer of the Council, a Fire Officer or a Police Constable
2 The fire alarm, emergency lighting system and electrical installation shall be tested on a regular basis, at a frequency determined by a competent person. Certificates should be issued showing the results of the tests. The certificates shall be made available for inspection on demand to an Authorised Officer of the Council, a Fire Officer or a Police Constable
3. In the event that a comedian whose material may be of an adult nature is performing then under 18’s will be excluded. There may be Gaming Machines but the committee will ensure that under 18’s do not use them. There will be no other adult entertainment services, activities, other entertainment or matters ancillary to the use of the premises that may give rise to concern in respect of children.

b) The prevention of crime and disorder
Members accept that the club committee has power to enforce the club rules which may involve sanctions against members including expulsion if members fail to conform to appropriate standards of behaviour. However, the club is a very well run organisation. There is no history of disturbances taking place at the club. Members also accept control over their visitors and guests who are identified within a visitors book. There is a CCTV camera at the entrance with a screen behind the bar and members have electronic keys to gain entry.
c) Public safety
The club committee take the view of public safety very seriously and maintain the club premises to appropriate standards of public safety for members and their guests.
d) The prevention of public nuisance
The club is not situated in the midst of a residential area and on one side has railway sidings and on the other side a storage company. Members however, do know that they must leave the club quietly so as not to cause a nuisance to members of the public.
e) The protection of children from harm
The club accepts that children under 16 should be accompanied at all times by an adult who will be responsible for the under 16 year old.
