Operating schedule
a) General - all four licensing objectives (b,c,d,e)
The regulated entertainment proposed is no more than normal pub style entertainment. We have considered the terms of your local licensing policy and no new steps have been identified by risk assessment except as below.
b) The prevention of crime and disorder
As no "drinking up" time is allowed under the new policy we propose to end regulated entertainment and serve the last drink 30 minutes before the terminal hour which will allow people ample time to consume their drinks and disperse in an orderly fashion.
c) Public safety
No capacity restriction is provided as risk assessment shows no risk of overcrowding. Should any of the responsible authorities make recommendations as to a capacity limit we will adhere to any limit they think fit.
d) The prevention of public nuisance
Doors and windows will be closed after 23:00 except for access and egress and in the event of an emergency to prevent any noise nuisance. Adequate staff will be employed to ensure dispersal of customers from the premises in an orderly manner. Notices will be posted near exit doors asking customers to leave quietly. Consideration will be given to fitting a noise limiter to any amplified music should this be requested.
e) The protection of children from harm
The current restrictions with regard to children will apply (children not allowed on premises). We will operate a "challenge 21" policy which will entail anyone who appears to be under the age of 21 will be asked for proof of age and only passports, photo driving licenses and accepted proof of age cards will be accepted.
