  On New Year’s Eve alcohol may be sold from the end of permitted hours on New Year’s Eve to the start of permitted hours on the following day (or, if there are no permitted hours on the following day, 00.00 hours (midnight) on 31st December)

   

  Credit Sales

  Alcohol shall not be sold or supplied unless it is paid for before or at the time when it is sold or supplied, except alcohol sold or supplied with and for consumption at a meal supplied at the same time, consumed with the meal and paid for together with the meal

   

  NO Children’s Certificate

  No person under fourteen shall be in the bar of the licensed premises during the permitted hours unless one of the following applies:

  a)              He is the child of the holder of the premises licence.

  b)              He resides in the premises, but is not employed there.

  c)              He is in the bar solely for the purpose of passing to or from some part of the premises that is not a bar and to or from some part of the premises where there is no other convenient means of access or egress.

  d)              The bar is in railway refreshment rooms or other premises constructed, fitted and intended to be used bona fide for any purpose to which holding of the licence is ancillary.

  In this condition “bar” includes any place exclusively or mainly used for the consumption of intoxicating liquor.  However, an area is not a bar when it is usual for it to be, and it is, set apart for the service of table meals and alcohol is only sold or supplied to persons as an ancillary to their table meals.

   

  Mandatory conditions where licence authorises the supply of alcohol

  (1)              No supply of alcohol may be made under the premises licence -

  (a)              at a time when there is no designated premises supervisor in respect of the premises licence, or

  (b)              at a time when the designated premises supervisor does not hold a personal licence or his personal licence is suspended.

  (2)              The supply of alcohol under the premises licence must be made or authorised by a person who holds a personal licence

   

  Mandatory condition where Door Supervisors are provided

  All individuals who carry out security activities must be licensed by the Security Industry Authority (SIA)

• Non standard timings

   

  A further additional hour into the morning following every Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday for each May Bank Holiday, Spring/Whitsun Bank Holiday and every August Bank Holiday weekend.

  A further additional hour into the morning following every Thursday. Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday for the Easter Bank Holiday weekend.

  An additional hour every Christmas Eve.

  An additional hour every Boxing Day.

• Offered Conditions

   

  1.              A personal licence holder shall normally be on the premises at all times after 20.00 hours during which intoxicating liquor is being sold or supplied to customers or consumed by customers except in the case of an emergency

  2.              Any person who looks or appears to be under the age of 18 shall be asked to provide identification that they are over the age of 18.  The following are the only forms of identification acceptable: - UK photo driving licence Passport PASS card (proof of age standards scheme)

  3.              Off sales shall cease at 23.00 hours.

  4.              Any outside area which is used for the consumption of alcohol shall cease to be so used at 23.00 hours

  5.              All external doors and windows shall be kept closed when regulated entertainment is being provided except in the event of an emergency

  6.              There shall be placed at all exits from the premises in a place where they can be seen and easily read by the public, (or member and their guests) notices requiring customers to leave the premises and the area quietly

  7.              The licence holder or his representative shall conduct regular assessments of the noise coming from the premises on every occasion the premises are used for regulated entertainment and shall take steps to reduce the level of noise where it is likely to cause a disturbance to local residents.  A written record shall be made of those assessments in a log book kept for that purpose and shall include, the time and date of the checks, the person making them and the results including any remedial action

  8.              Live music shall consist of amplified and/or Unamplified live music performed by no more than 2 entertainers

  9.        Other than 2 AWP machines and 1 cigarette machine there will be no adult                        entertainment services, activities, other entertainment or matters ancillary to the use of the premises that may give rise to concern in respect of children

   

  Operating Schedule

  Following an assessment of the premises and its surrounding area the following is proposed :

  30 minute "drinking up" time will allow appropriate dispersal,use of lavatories etc

  In order to further the licensing objectives the licensee reserves the right to move the fire appliances, AWP machines,cigarette machines and or any other similar objects temporarily in a fixed location which may impact on the ability of individuals on the premises to use exits or escape routes without impediment.
