Offered Conditions
1. A personal licence holder shall normally be on the premises at all times during which intoxicating liquor is being sold or supplied to customers or consumed by customers, except in the case of an emergency
2. Whenever the designated premises supervisor is not at the premises another personal licence holder will be nominated by the designated premises supervisor as being the responsible person to manage the premises and will have the contact details of the designated premises supervisor. The details of such person to be on prominent display outside the premises
3. Any person who looks or appears to be under the age of 18 shall be asked to provide identification that they are over the age of 18. The following are the only forms of identification acceptable: UK photo driving licence; Passport; PASS card (proof of age standards scheme)
4. Any outside area, which is used for the consumption of alcohol, shall cease to be so used at 23.00 hours
5. The provision of off-sales to terminate at 23.00 hours
6. Before the premises are opened for the purposes authorised by the licence an inspection shall be carried out to ensure that the premises are safe for use. Details of the inspection, defects discovered and remedial action taken shall be recorded in writing in a logbook kept for that purpose. That logbook shall be made available for inspection on demand to an Authorised Officer of the Council, a Fire Officer or a Police Constable
7. At all times when the premises are used for the purpose of the premises licence, the licence holder, manager or designated premises supervisor who is responsible for the management of the premises shall at all times be aware of the number of persons on the premises 1) to ensure that overcrowding does not occur, and 2) shall if requested to do so give that information to an authorised person
8. All doors forming part of the escape route which open against the direction of travel, shall be locked in the open position by a tamper-proof fastening when ever there are public on the premises and there shall be a clearly visible notice in capital letters which contains the words: "THIS DOOR SHALL BE KEPT LOCKED IN THE OPEN POSITION WHEN THE PREMISES ARE OCCUPIED" permanently displayed next to the door(s)
9. The fire alarm, emergency lighting system and electrical installation shall be tested on a regular basis, at a frequency determined by a competent person. Certificates should be issued showing the results of the tests. The certificates shall be made available for inspection on demand to an Authorised Officer of the Council, a Fire Officer or a Police Constable
10. The nosings on all steps and landings shall be maintained so that they are clearly visible by painting them in a contrasting colour or other similar means
11. The outdoor regulated entertainment will be restricted to the hours of daylight only i.e. 18.00 hours winter and 22.00 hours summer
12. Regulated entertainment noise levels to be monitored after 00.00 hours (midnight)
Where occasioned a stripogram is required at managements discretion and with no risk to children otherwise there will be no adult entertainment services, activities, other entertainment or matters ancillary to the use of the premises that may give rise to concern in respect of children

The prevention of crime and disorder
This is a community local public house incorporating a motel with a regular clientele base. A 30 minute ‘wind down’ period will allow a staggered departure from the premises of the customer, reducing noise and other conductive problems. Zero tolerance on drugs (signs stipulating life ban). CCTV in operation. Member of the local pub watch group. Staff to be vigilant as customers depart premises to ensure no problems arise.
Public safety
Health and safety poster, fire procedures posters, accident record book, first aid kit, fire alarm, gas and electricity safety certificates, P.A.T. certificate, fire extinguisher maintenance certificate signs with reference to a street ban on bottles / glasses, workplace and fire risk assessment, are all in place. Health and safety premises and fire alarm / emergency lighting audits are carried out. All areas to be cleared of bottles / glasses on a regular basis. Entrances / exits to be kept clear at all times, in case of emergency. Staff to conduct a ‘walkthrough’ at regular intervals to monitor all areas to ensure no problems arise.
The prevention of public nuisance
Staff vigilance at closing times. All music levels to be reduced from midnight to a slower tempo. Windows to be closed as required to reduce noise levels. No doors to be propped open after 23.00hrs to ensure noise levels are contained. Exit noises with reference to noise levels upon leaving the premises, are in place.
The protection of children from harm
Display prominent signage regarding supervision of children at all times. Soft drinks and snacks available at all times. All recognised proof of age cards accepted e.g. passport, portman group, photo driving licence. House rules regarding children i.e. supervision and times permitted on premises to be responsibility of Designated Premises Supervisor. Twice reached the National Final of Portman Group ‘Responsible Licensee of the Year’ award for work with local police and pub watch groups.
